Location : This region lies from 20 to 20 deg N-S in the interior part of the continent(Asia)

Countries : Saudi Arabia,Kuwait, UAE,etc.

Physical & Climatic features :

• This region is the largest hot desert covering with sand on the Arabian peninsula.
• We can find Arabian desert, Thar desert, Makan desert, etc.
• The climate of this region is very extreme in day and night both (hot & cold with no rainfall).
• The temperature of this region is 50°C in day and 0° at night time, because of very low specific heat capacity of sand.

 

Natural Vegetation & Wildlife :

• This region is one of the driest part of the world having no crops vegetation but we can find thorny plants, green in color to prevent water evaporation or water loss.
• We can find cactus, pricky plants, venus flytap etc. here.
• We earn find small poisonous reptiles and mammals,they generally reside in burrow.
